Two teams from WMG Academy Coventry have sailed through to the national final of the Royal Navy Engineering Challenge.
The competition sets students the challenge of designing a remote controlled vessel for removing objects from the sea bed.
Both teams—HMS Wreck (Key Stage 5) and HMS Discover (Key Stage 4)—have successfully progressed to the next step of the challenge, which sees students from around the country competing.
The teams will be heading to the national finals in March, where they will spend the night on the Royal Navy warship HMS Bristol.
