WMG ACADEMY COVENTRY is celebrating another year of outstanding GCSE results for all students in Year 11. Crucially, these results have opened doors for individual learners to pursue top destinations, launching their STEM careers.
Once again, the academy has improved on both of the key metrics at Key Stage 4 which are the percentage of students who achieve a strong pass (grade 5 and above) or a standard pass (grades 4 and above) in both English and Maths. We are also proud of our inclusivity at the academy, in that, the achievement extended to all groups of students with both SEND and PP students achieving well above the national average for pass grades in both English and Maths.
WMG Academy Chief Executive, Stewart Tait, commented, “I am impressed that we are once again seeing real achievement across the ability range of students at WMG Academy Coventry with some fantastic individual results. For students and their families, this is the culmination of much hard work, dedication and perseverance. I personally congratulate the students and thank parents and carers for their patience and support as well as the staff for their unwavering commitment and dedication.”
