Overview of Course

Learners who take this course will be investigating different types of business organisations in a variety of sectors and environments, recognising that they face varying degrees of competition. They will be able to make justifiable decisions using both qualitative and quantitative methods to recommend solutions to business problems.

They will understand that business behaviour can be studied from a range of perspectives and be aware of the ethical dilemmas and responsibilities faced by organisations and individuals. They will study the functional areas of business and how both internal and external factors affect business operations.

Course Entry Requirements

There is no pre-requisite knowledge required for this course. Learners will be required to have both GCSE English and GCSE Maths at Grade A* – C.
