The science department celebrated British Science Week with activities around the theme of time. Students in Year 11 had an assembly looking at how our measurement of time has changed over history and then launched the poster competition and 60 second egg timer challenge. In lessons, Year 10 students designed a helicopter delivery system that would fall 3m in exactly 2.5 seconds. The science department ended the week with a lunchtime showcase of their design for the 60 second egg timer in front of students on the atrium steps.
