All Key Stage 4 students had the chance to learn some new applications of Chemistry and potential career paths as they engaged with practical activities relating to fireworks, sparklers and making their own bioplastic! Year 11 and A Level Chemistry student had an amazing opportunity to listen to a fascinating talk by Professor Mike Ward, Vice Provost and Chair of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Medicine at the University of Warwick about his ground-breaking research. A Level Chemistry student also attended the launch of the Chemistry Olympiad, an exciting opportunity for all involved.
