How to Enrol into the Sixth Form at WMG
GCSE Results day is Thursday 21st August 2025
RE: Enrolling into the WMG Academy Sixth Form (External Students)
We are writing to confirm the arrangements for students in Year 11 who are receiving their GCSE results this summer and will be joining the WMG Academy Sixth Form in September 2025. We are incredibly excited to welcome everybody to the Academy and hope that they too are looking forward to joining us.
Once you have collected your examination results from your current school on Thursday 21st August, it is important that your next stop is the WMG Academy. Our enrollment desks will be open from 11:00am until 3.00pm on Thursday 21st, and from 10:00am until 2:00pm on Friday 22nd and Tuesday 26th August. Please be mindful that places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and in line with our entry criteria. Students who narrowly miss the required standard will be placed on a reserve list and contacted on Friday 22nd August to be informed as to whether they have been allocated a place.
On arrival, each student will complete an enrollment form. Please bring a hard copy of your results with you so we can photocopy them on arrival. During the enrollment process we will review each student’s examination results and confirm their course selection, ensuring that the entry criteria has been met.
If for any reason, you are unable to attend the academy in person on the above date, please email your results and confirmation of your selected courses into [email protected] and we will confirm your place as quickly as possible having reviewed your results and confirmed that the entry criteria has been met.
Please note that you MUST inform us if you want to join us in the sixth form; it is not an automatic process, even if you have the required grades.
