Over the course of about 8 weeks, Key Stage 5 students designed and built some earthquake proof towers, there was a brief that provided some criteria to what the designs needed to fulfil and also provide some simple limits e.g. the total weight of the tower. The students displayed their best STEM skills alongside their levels of creativity. On the final day of the project, the structures were put through a series of tests and measurements.
